Terms of Use

Last updated: 30 August 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dhara Yoga website and the booking and yoga services we provide.

By using our website or making a booking for a Dhara Yoga class, you agree to these Terms.

Before completing a booking, you will also be required to confirm that you have read and agree to our Yoga Participation & Liability Waiver and Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the website or book our services.

2. About Dhara Yoga

Dhara Yoga provides yoga classes and related services.

For enquiries, please contact us at:

Email: dhara@dharayoga.co.uk

3. Eligibility

By using this website or making a booking, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete
  • You will use the website and our services lawfully
  • You are legally capable of entering into an agreement for the services you purchase

Where a participant is under 18, any required consent from a parent or legal guardian must be obtained before participation.

4. Bookings

Class bookings are subject to availability.

When you submit a booking through our website, the booking system will provide confirmation of the booking and relevant details.

We use Amelia to manage bookings and appointments.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when making a booking is accurate, including your contact information and the class you have selected.

A booking may only be completed where the relevant class has availability and payment, where required, has been successfully processed.

5. Prices and Payments

Prices for our classes are displayed on the website at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to change our prices for future bookings. Any price change will not affect a booking that has already been confirmed, unless otherwise agreed with you.

Payment for bookings is processed securely through Stripe, our payment service provider.

Where payment is required at the time of booking, the booking will not be considered complete until the required payment has been successfully processed.

6. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds

Our cancellation and refund arrangements will be clearly stated at the time of booking or in the relevant booking information.

Where a cancellation is permitted, you should follow the cancellation process provided by Dhara Yoga or through the booking system.

Late cancellations and non-attendance may not qualify for a refund where this has been clearly stated as part of the applicable booking conditions.

Where a refund is due, it will normally be processed using the original payment method.

Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

7. Class Changes and Cancellations by Dhara Yoga

We will make reasonable efforts to provide classes at the advertised times and locations.

However, circumstances may arise where we need to change, reschedule or cancel a class, including circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where Dhara Yoga cancels or materially changes a booked class, we will communicate the relevant information to affected customers and, where appropriate, offer a suitable alternative or refund.

We will not use this right in a way that removes or restricts any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

8. Health, Safety and Participation

Yoga is a form of physical activity and carries inherent risks.

Before participating in a class, you are responsible for considering whether the activity is suitable for you and for informing the instructor of any relevant injury, medical condition, pregnancy, physical limitation or other circumstance that may affect your ability to participate safely.

You must:

  • Follow reasonable instructions provided by the instructor
  • Work within your own physical capabilities
  • Stop or modify an exercise if it causes pain, discomfort or feels unsafe
  • Inform the instructor if you feel unwell or believe you may be at risk of injury

Participation in our classes is subject to our separate Yoga Participation & Liability Waiver, which you must agree to before completing a booking.

9. Conduct

We expect all participants to behave respectfully towards instructors, staff and other participants.

You agree not to:

  • Disrupt a class or materially interfere with other participants' experience
  • Behave abusively, threateningly or inappropriately
  • Harass or intimidate another participant, instructor or member of staff
  • Deliberately damage property
  • Misuse our website or booking systems
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or accounts

Where reasonably necessary for safety or the proper operation of our services, Dhara Yoga may ask a participant to leave a class or restrict future access to our services.

Any such action will be taken reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.

10. Accounts

Where our website allows you to create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

You should notify us promptly if you believe that your account has been accessed without your permission.

You must not use another person's account without their permission.

We may suspend or restrict an account where we reasonably believe that it is being used fraudulently, unlawfully or in breach of these Terms.

11. Website Use

You agree to use the Dhara Yoga website responsibly and lawfully.

You must not:

  • Use the website for an unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, systems or databases
  • Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website
  • Use automated systems to access or extract website content in a way that could damage or disrupt the service

We may temporarily suspend access to the website where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security or technical reasons.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content displayed on the Dhara Yoga website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, branding, videos and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Dhara Yoga.

You may view and use the website for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit our website content without our prior written permission, unless permitted by law.

13. Third-Party Services

We use certain third-party providers to help operate our website and services, including:

  • Amelia for class booking and appointment management
  • Stripe for payment processing
  • Website hosting and technical service providers where necessary

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers' own terms and policies.

Further information about how personal information is handled is available in our Privacy Policy.

14. Liability

Dhara Yoga will provide its services with reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

To the extent permitted by law, Dhara Yoga is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

For matters specifically relating to the physical risks of participating in yoga classes, please refer to our separate Yoga Participation & Liability Waiver.

15. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for a delay or failure to provide a service where this results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

This may include events such as:

  • Severe weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Public health emergencies
  • Transport disruption
  • Utility or infrastructure failure
  • Government action
  • Other circumstances that could not reasonably have been prevented

Where such an event affects a booked class, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected customers and, where appropriate, provide an alternative arrangement or refund.

16. Changes to Our Services

We may make reasonable changes to our website, classes or services from time to time.

Where a change materially affects a booking you have already made, we will provide appropriate information and, where applicable, any remedies required by law.

We will not use changes to our Terms to remove rights that you have already acquired under a confirmed booking.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technology or legal requirements.

The latest version will always be published on this page, together with the updated “Last updated” date.

Where a significant change affects an existing contractual relationship, we will take reasonable steps to bring the change to your attention.

Your use of the website or any new booking after the updated Terms have been published will be subject to the updated Terms.

18. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information and how we use services such as Amelia and Stripe.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms or our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
